Rijks Museum at Sea
Video installation, Holland America Line - Netherlands
I collaborated with Poleshuck Design, a studio focusing on environment, theatre, and stage design and production. We were tasked to create an installation for several ultra-wide walls within the Holland America Line ship, showcasing selected collections from the Rijksmuseum, with over 90 minutes of visual art in motion.
We created a virtual museum environment with walls, frames, lighting, and compositions showcasing Rijksmuseum art from 1100-1900.

The challenge was to compose sculptures and paintings with various orientations for an ultra-wide format. Moments such as tight crops, detailing paint strokes, and smooth camera movements helped to resolve the challenge as well as create a museum environment and visit experience.

Special focus on Dutch artists such as Dürer, Rembrandt, and Vermeer required an informative approach.
